For parents

Safe by design.

What Pavilion does and doesn't do, in plain words. Everything here can be checked by opening the game.

What Pavilion has and doesn't have

What Pavilion doesn't have

  • No chat and no messages. Nobody can contact your child through Pavilion.
  • No real names, emails, phone numbers, photos or exact location. Players show by the nickname they pick.
  • No ads and no advertising trackers.
  • Nothing to buy in the browser game. No money is ever paid, staked or won.
  • No streaks or energy timers. Nothing designed to make stopping hard.

What it does keep

  • A random code made on the device. We can't work out who anyone is from it.
  • The innings played, so the boards work.
  • A nickname, if your child picks one. It shows next to their results on the boards. Remind them not to use their real name.
  • Rough details: country, type of device, and which link brought them.
  • Innings are deleted automatically after about 13 months.
Your questions

Six straight answers

What age is it for?

Pavilion is made for cricket fans of all ages. The browser game asks for nothing that identifies a person, so there's nothing for a child to hand over. Younger children play it happily with someone beside them.

Can strangers contact them?

No. There is no chat, no messaging, no friend requests and no trading. Boards show a player's nickname and result (for example "3rd · Spinning Stu · 19 balls"). Nicknames are filtered, anyone can tap a name on a board and report it, and we remove any that break the rules. You can also email hello@pavilioncc.com.

What is a clubhouse?

A private board for a club or a group of mates. Members show by the nickname they chose, and the clubhouse board is only for its members. The creator can remove anyone, and so can we. For junior teams, clubhouses should be set up and shared by parents or club officials.

Can they spend money?

Not in the browser game: there is nothing to buy. The Roblox version has a few optional extras paid in Robux, which never improve batting or buy a place on a board, and Roblox's own parental controls can block them.

How long is a session?

A quick chase takes a couple of minutes. A full match-night chase is longer, and it stays open for 48 hours, so there's never a reason to play at a particular hour.

How do I delete their data?

Open Privacy & your data on your child's device and tap Delete my data. It removes every innings, result and nickname saved on that device. If they play on more than one device, do it on each.
